Job vacancy : P/T Real Estate Marketing & Technology Assistant ...

Busy San Francisco-based real estate team is looking for a part-time marketing assistant with excellent writing, video and social media skills. We are a fun, energetic, creative group of professionals who are ?out of the box? thinkers. Real estate knowledge is beneficial but not required. Knowledge of San Francisco neighborhoods and lifestyles is a big plus.

This is an ongoing part-time independent contractor position with flexible hours. Some of the work requires coming into our SF office or meeting at a site to film video but much of the work can be done remotely on your own, according to your own schedule after an initial training period. The work is often fast-paced, requiring excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.

Schedule is flexible but will be approximately 10-15 hours/week and may include occasional weekend (Sunday) support depending on your qualifications and interests. The number of hours per week will most likely increase over time.

There is potential for growth in this position, as the marketing person or other real estate-related position. We are looking for someone to become a long-term member of our team.

Qualifications:

General:

You drive; have a current license, and a reliable car.
You live in San Francisco or have an easy commute.
You have a Mac with up-to-date software.
You are highly motivated, organized, and easy to work with!

Video: Must know iMovie or other Mac-based film-editing program.

You will produce video content for our marketing efforts. You will be responsible for all pre and post-production. We want our videos to be polished and clean, yet fun and approachable. You will work with us to create the scope of each video project, will work independently to implement the vision. You will see the video through to completion. The projects will include neighborhood videos, client testimonials, buyer/seller training clips, property showcase videos and more.

You do not need to be a professional videographer! You do need to have competent video editing and technical skills, know Apple video editing software and associated programs, have competent camera operation and audio techniques using consumer-level hardware (yours and/or ours), and have a stylish, creative aesthetic. Interest in photography is a plus!

Social Media & Blogging: Must know and be very comfortable using WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, & other blogging/social media platforms. You are a great writer! You like to take photos and incorporate video into your content.

Real Estate-specific software: Experience with IDX Broker and Top Producer 8i is a plus!

Basically, you are very marketing & tech-savvy and enjoy creating online content. You are extremely organized, enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and are excited to create fabulous consumer content!
